Conclusion Chiller Outlet/Inlet • Flow measurement carried out, good readings/signal obtained, • Clamp-on meter matching site meter, • See below photos both meter flow rates are matching (7.9 l/s) POD Flow Supply lines • Flow measurement carried out, good readings/signal obtained, • When chiller is running normally with valves actuating automatically on demand: - flow to front of the pod is less than flow to back, - flow rates to 24/1, 24/2, 25/1 & 25/2 all differ - flow is not equally balanced • When valves were manually fully opened to 24/1, 24/2, 25/1 & 25/2 all flows were the same 0.8 l/s • Site notes: - Air audible through return loop - Pressure vessel is not connected • See attached photo s and spreadsheets for raw data • Site change automation valve control to balance flows, so that front and rear supply lines to PODS 24&25 match, giving equal climate control throughout the ripening chambers Page ! of ! 4 12
