Action Medical Research is a UK charity that has been funding medical research into children's diseases since it was established in 1952. Examples of their work include the first polio vaccines in the UK, pregnancy ultrasounds and the rubella vaccine, among countless other success stories. You can watch some of these stories on their Youtube channel.

MeasurIT and its staff have a long-standing practice of supporting charity work. Our commitment is such that since 2006 we have donated 6% of our nett profit to charity. Mark is a keen cyclist and it made sense to combine his two passions this year. The route will take him from Blackheath in London through the Kent countryside to Dover. Here, the cyclists will cross to Calais on the ferry and continue to Paris through the historic French countryside, arriving just in time to watch the final of the Tour de France. For more details on the route you can click here

MeasurIT have covered all the costs of Mark's participation in this event, so 100% of all donations will go directly to the charity. If you are interested in helping with this vital work for children, please consider sponsoring Mark by going to his sponsorship page. You can also contact MeasurIT and we will be happy to help you make a donation.
