The BETA C Series offers features not found on most general purpose industrial switches. The standard powder coated finish, with stainless steel brackets and hardware, pass the 1000 hour saltwater spray test. The C Series also uses the same diaphragm / piston design found in the W Series, which allows for wide rangeability with accurate setpoints and small deadbands. The "I" version of the C Series is ATEX approved for intrinsically safe applications. For pressure, temperature, vacuum and differential pressure applications, the C Series is a cost effective industrial switch.
The explosion proof (Eex-d IIc T6) BETA W Series, in cast aluminium, SS316 or V5 series in cast iron enclosures. Pressure ranges starting from 1 inch of water column to 5000 psi. Vacuum ranges / Differential ranges and Temperature ranges available. Several options and specials possible.

The OEM range the BETA B Series MINI switch is anodised aluminium enclosure fixed Hirschmann connector. Pressure ranges starting from 1 inch of water column to 5000 psi. Fluid power (hydraulic) range up to 7000 psi, Vacuum ranges and Temperature ranges available. Limited option and specials possible.

The BETA Principle
A high quality, self-aligning diaphragm/piston sensor is the heart of BETA Switch. The limited piston travel transmits pressure at the diaphragm directly to the microswitch, with no intervening linkages or mechanisms while providing full protection against high overrange pressure.
The piston sensor is isolated from the process fluid by a diaphragm and static O-ring seal and retained by a process connection port. These three elements are the only process wetted parts and are available in an extensive range of materials.
