How CheckMate® UltraFlex™ Valves Work
Red Valve, the parent company of Tideflex, have been manufacturing in line check valves for drainage since 1953. Patented by them in 1998, the CheckMate® Inline Check Valve is ideal for backflow prevention and stopping smells from drains and sewers. In outfalls, stormwater, rainwater, combined sewer overflow (CSO) and sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) applications, the CheckMate®'s custom-engineered, all-rubber unibody design eliminates costly backflow from seas, rivers, interceptors and tanks. CheckMate® inline non-return valves have very low headloss, which is especially beneficial in low-lying areas. The CheckMate® in line check valve is built to suit all your specific site and flow characteristics.
The CheckMate®'s unique elastomer-reinforced design provides a proven record of maintenance-free performance, cost savings and results that no other inline check valve can match. The valve has a 100% fabric and elastomer construction that eliminates corrosion problems. Because the CheckMate® is made with a unibody construction, there are no mechanical components to catch debris, corrode or fail. This results in significant savings - both in time and costs.
The patented CheckMate® UltraFlex™ Inline Check Valve features drastically improved hydraulic and performance characteristics to its predecessor, the original CheckMate® Check Valve. Strategically placed reinforcing ribs, segmented pads and the “Arc Notch” bill combine to significantly improve flow effciency with significantly reduced headloss, while providing absolute back flow protection.
